Step 1: Determine Eligibility: 

Ensure that your business is eligible for GACC registration. Typically, businesses involved in export activities to China, including exporters, customs brokers, and other entities in the supply chain, need to apply for GACC registration.

Step 2: Document Collection and Verification:  

Collect all the necessary documents required for GACC Registration and verify them to ensure that all the documents are correct.

Step 3: Prepare the Application:

Obtain the applicable form from the GACC official website. Create a preview file that will contain all the details provided, including company information, registered email ID, product list, Chinese buyer details (for verification), and authorized person details.

Step 4: Payment (upon approval of preview file):

Make a payment for your registration to the GACC bank details provided on the portal, and you will receive a payment receipt of successful payment. 

Step 5: Document Creation (Letter of Commitment):

After paying the government fee, you will get a document (likely a Letter of Commitment) that should be duly signed and stamped by an authorized person.

Step 5: Application Submission:

Upload the signed Letter of Commitment on the portal and submit the application. After successful submission of your application, you will receive a form that you’re required to fill and mail it to GACC.

Step 6: GACC Review:

The GACC will check your application and verify the payment.

Step 7: Payment Confirmation and Chinese Buyer Verification Request:

Once the payment is reflected, the GACC will send a confirmation email and request you to complete the Chinese buyer verification. They will also share a portal link for the Chinese buyer to complete the verification and a standard operating procedure (SOP) in the Chinese language to guide them through the verification process.

Step 8: Verification Follow-up:

After successful verification, you will be required to send a reminder to the GACC that the verification process is complete.

Step 9: Certificate Issuance:

The GACC will check the verification. If the verification is successful, the GACC will issue the GACC certificate within 2 to 3 working days.
